WELCOME TO THE FLOW
CYTOMETRY CORE FACILITY
Located the centre of Barcelona, this unit
is a part of the Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques
August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS),
a biomedical translational research center, comoposed
of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, the School of Medicine
at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Institut d'Investigacions
Biomèdiques de Barcelona, CSIC (IIBB-CSIC), with the
institutional support of the Catalan government, Generalitat
de Catalunya, through the DURSI.
The Cytomics Unit Laboratory provides the instrumentation
and the technical and professional assistance necessary
to perform flow cytometric and cell sorting - related
experiments. Our core is equipped with two major
types of instruments: an analyser, FACSCalibur with
two lasers; and a cell sorter, FACS VANTAGE flow cytometer,
with three lasers and CloneCyt® for cellular separation
procedures. |
