Welcome to the First Workshop on Lipid Mediators!

This one-day workshop is primarily addressed to scientists interested in the field of bioactive lipid mediators. We especially welcome graduate and postdoctoral students to attend this workshop, and attendance is free.

The workshop has two main goals:

1) to bring together researchers to discuss the latest results and developments in this area; and
2) to promote interaction and exchange of ideas among the different laboratories.
 
For this first workshop, experts have been selected to represent research groups established in Spain, France and Italy. These participants have been asked to focus their presentations on a number of research topics that include the state-of-the-art knowledge of the biochemistry of fatty acids and eicosanoids, the involvement of these lipid mediators in inflammation and their role in several disease conditions.

Additionally, students/post-docs and other researchers will have the opportunity to present their results by poster format.
